With the Zen Core Massage products, the painful trigger points can be optimally treated and tension in the muscles relieved. But not every massage ball and every massage peanut is the same. Depending on the intensity of the tension, the part of the body to be treated and your personal feeling, you can switch between the levels of hardness. We recommend that you massage the tense area for at least eight seconds, but no longer than one minute. The Zen Core massage balls are available individually, but also in a pack of three. Made of rubber, the Zen Core Balls relieve muscle tension all over the body and are also very easy to use.

Depending on the intensity of the tension and your personal feeling, you can switch between the levels of hardness. You should massage each tight spot for at least eight seconds, but no longer than a minute. The Zen Core Massage Peanuts are available individually, but also in a pack of three.

The Zen Core Peanuts are primarily used on the back along the spine. They take the pressure off the spine and massage the muscles by the spine. The distance between the two balls serves to protect the spine and ensures that the muscles next to the spine can be treated.

The Massage Peanuts are not difficult to use either. We have also prepared a small tutorial for you.

This Peanut massage is also ideal for relieving tension. You should also massage the tense area for at least 8 seconds, but no longer than a minute. It is a perfect massage device for use on the whole body. However, it has been optimally shaped for use on the back, as has already been explained with the Massage Peanut Set.

The difference to the peanuts included in the set is the material, because instead of normal rubber, which has a cavity in the middle, we have used soft rubber without a cavity. The peanut is therefore a bit firmer and more stable and can release even stronger tension as even more pressure can be exerted.

Double Lax Hard

With this optimal massage device, every tension in the whole body can be relieved. To do this, massage the tense area for at least 8 seconds, but no longer than a minute. As already mentioned, the product can be used for the entire body. The shape of the Zen Core Massage Peanut Double Lax Hard adapts perfectly to the back and spine. The difference to the peanuts and the soft peanut included in the set is the material, because instead of normal rubber, which has a cavity in the middle, or soft rubber, we have a peanut that is made entirely of rubber and is without a cavity. It is therefore better suited for use on strong tension. The peanut is also available in a wide variety of colours.

What is a
Trigger Point Massage?

80-90% of all muscular pain can be attributed to limited local muscle dysfunction and muscle hardening. The trigger points themselves are very small and often do not cause pain, which makes them all the more difficult to locate. When they transmit the pain to other, distant parts of the body, trigger points become a problem. For example, hardened muscles in the neck often cause a tension headache. With a trigger point massage, these trigger points are then pressed or massaged, which relieves the pain and its side-effects, such as the tension headaches.

Trigger point massage is not only used for acute pain, but also to remove adhesions in muscles. These are mainly caused by a lack of exercise or a lack of fluid intake. In the long term, muscle adhesions restrict the range of motion, increase the risk of injury and reduce performance.

The different shapes and degrees of hardness of the Zen Core massage devices enable professional treatment of the trigger points. They can be used flexibly and conveniently anywhere you want.

The self-performed trigger point massage is also called myofascial relaxation and has been a part of many training plans for some time. At this point we have to mention that trigger point massages are painful. However, every athlete knows that the path to improving performance can be painful.

When using the Zen Core massage devices, it is important to know that you do not necessarily have to go to the maximum pain limit when you carry out a massage yourself. Excessive pressure can cause further contraction instead of relaxation. An increase in the intensity of the trigger point massage can be achieved, for example, by first using the Zen Core massage devices vertically on the wall and only then lying on the floor in the second phase.
